This is the only cave (of fifty) on the island Krk which has been set up to receive visitors. The length of this cave, which though small in rich stalactites and stalagmites, is 110 m. The depth from the entrance to the bottom is only 12 m, and the lowest part of the cave is 53 m above sea level. The endemic insect Alpioniscus christiani lives in the rich cave decorations of calcium carbonate, but due to his "greatness" you probably won't even notice him. What you can see, if you come early in the morning or at the end of the day is a small population of bats.
