Species of flora
The island of Krk has 1300 described species of flora, which by itself needn’t mean much, but if you compare this to the number of 1180 on a much bigger and better known island called Great Britain, as far as species of flora are concerned, they should swap their names – Great Krk and the Island of Britain.
